My maternal grandmother, Dr. Ona Mae Austin of Irving, Texas, was a gracious lady. She loved my grandfather all of her life and never remarried when he was departed from us. Grandmazie loved opera, classical music, travel and history, and she filled her house with beautiful objects such as little crystal dishes filled with candy and round soaps ~ well I was a child.
