Ribbons, Ruffles and Pleats for Growing Girls

As my daughters grow quickly out of their clothes, I remain busily at my sewing machine, both altering old clothes and making new ones. We do purchase plenty of clothes at the store, but the sizes are a bit deceiving. Therefore, I've attempted to locate styles that are larger, yet can be taken in at the waist line to last much longer. A skirt that is far too large can simply be pleated.
