Well, I met Eric at the University of North Texas, and he was an uncommon, tall, blonde, rather goofy Baptist who said he was going to marry this girl whom he'd introduced to us, even though God told him not to marry her. It's one thing to marry against God's wishes, but it's another thing entirely to be a sing-along in the bathroom, Bible thumping Baptist and marry against God's wishes.
