Her Beggar A lover took a handsome beggar in to love. And never does she think she'll get a better beggar from above. A beggar has he always been. A beggar was he way back when. And theiving she expects now and then, as well as any dove. She holds her tongue whene'er she thinks a word of hate. She knows that with a beggar, it could be too late ~ to give an ounce of love, to hold him o'er the clouds above, as more important of all life than any other form of strife; she has no other sustenance...
