The Sox pull even with Yanks
The Boston Red Sox pulled even with the New York Yankees by virtue of a 5-3 victory pitched by David Welles, the former Yankee southpaw. The Sox jumped to a 5-1 lead, then held on for the victory. David Ortiz has made himself into a mythical giant as huge as Paul Bunyan in these late season games...
