Today's Slip: I have a friend who is telling me about a guy she is trying to get to leave her alone. "I thought it would detour him, but he is just not taking the hint." About this Blog

As a child my parents introduced me to The Bowery Boys, one particular boy of note was Slip Mahoney. Slip was forever "murderlizin" the English language. So whenever someone uses the wrong word, makes up a word, or a mispronunciation is made my family christens it a Slip Mahoneyism. This Blog is a record of the many I hear and read from day to day.
