Happy Anniversary ADA

Today was the 18th anniversary of the ADA or Americans with Disabilities Act. Its hard to believe that when it passed I was a 13 year old girl enjoying two weeks of independence and freedom at a disability summer camp. It seems fitting that the law passed then. We had a dance to celebrate. Today, as I do every ADA day, I made it a point to go outside and do things, even if it was just normal things, like visiting the grocery store or going to the library.
