alone

I often await the ending of the light as a child awaits that which she has been told she can not have. I like to see the colors, feel the breeze and know soon it will be dark but today the sun seems to be taking his time to descend into that line where puffy clouds dressed in their finest subtle tones of gray try to cover the brightness that in the sky he has left as his parting gift at the end of this day.
