Moonless

It is so sad when there is no moon up in the sky where she ought to be... The night revels in its darkness and the stars all come out to play like the mice do when the cat's away. But I notice when she is not there my shinning friend my confident for I have no one to gaze upon when very late I sit alone and softly think my thoughts of you I miss her soft silvery light which sweetly softens everything, I can not wait for her to appear again up there, round and bright shinning through into my...
