goodbye

Once in a while, if she was lucky, she would dream with him as he was before and he would be in her arms again, filling her like water fills a thirsty jar, but she would wake up, and he would still be far... like a perfume floating in the wind sometimes strong... others just a hint. The thoughts of him healthy and well filled her mind with inspiration like the wind fills the sails of a boat even though no one can really see it, and her broken heart with love as light can fill a broken mirror...
