The butterfly's dance

A butterfly danced around a fire on a moonless night admiring the hypnotic brightness of its flame, the warmth she felt as she came near made her feel good about herself and she put aside her instinctive fear as she caught her reflection in the deep puddles summer rains had left on the floor the night before.
