Slowly, without breaking records for time

I am determined to love you, slowly without breaking records for time. The voice in my diaphragm speaks of sonnets, wafer thin, romantic, like the rudder that steers the moon.Together floating -a hollow lily pad -we rock back and forth with the motion of sailors adrift at sea.
