The Beech Tree

The Beech Tree What is it about a beech tree That makes it so lovely to see Is it the way its branches go every which way With seemingly no uniformity No, although this is a beautiful trait I think it is much more than this Maybe it is the nuts that it bears With so much work For so little reward Yet it tastes so sweet No although I have tasted it so many times I believe it is much more than the meat Maybe it is the holes that it gets in its trunk So many squirrels have there found a home What a...
