Sidewalk Chalk

Sidewalk Chalk A little girl is joyfully playing She's drawing with chalk on the sidewalk I'm not sure just what she is drawing Her imagination is growing Her patter is fascinating talk Just two she has a story to tell And a captive audience you know A story she seems to know very well I will stop and listen for a spell It's clear she doesn't want me to go Her story makes this old man happy She draws me in with each chalk mark Back and forth as busy as a bee To say the least I am very pleased...
