Waking This Morning

Waking This Morning He was up before I awoke The sky was quiet as He spoke He took the moon, put it away Right before the new morning broke Now I have this glorious day It's surely one that he has made Let me rejoice and be so glad As the birds lovely song is played And He kissed my cheek, I might add As earth with sweet sunshine was clad Blessed, He thinks of me as His child His gifts are like none ever had The morning breeze sweeps thru so mild On my knees this morn, seen Him smile I think...
