The Theology of Superheros

I heard a sermon yesterday morning based on a scripture from Isaiah 42:1-9. You can read the passage at the end of this blog ( I recommend reading it now). The minister opened his remarks by talking about how popular and successful superhero movies are. He called this the theology of the superhero. Witness the success of Spiderman, Batman, Superman, X-men, and on and on.
