SO MANY PETS DIED DURING HURRICANE KATRINA!!!!
Hopefully, all of you in coastal areas are well prepared for the 2006 hurricane season. But one thing that often gets overlooked is preparation for your pets. I never heard an official count of the pets lost along the Gulf Coast when Katrina hit, but I'm certain the number was hundreds of thousands....

ONE MORE WEEK AT MY TEMP JOB!!!!!!!!!!
They finally hired someone at the electric company to fill my position. They didn't want to. They wanted to hire me, but I just can't live on $10 or 11 bucks an hour. It was tempting though. This is such a sweet neighborhood...oh sure it's got its drawbacks. Over-crowded, too much pollution, etc....
