Sometimes your best isn't enough....
There's this weird thing when you are a mother about believing a doctor, especially when you have to believe a doctor about an issue or illness that your child may have. We are coming up on six full months since Hayley's diagnosis of type one diabetes. Amazing. I've changed a lot, and so has she....

Watch out, she'll kick your ass!
Kierstin is currently on her way home from California. She has been there since Saturday at a Tae Kwan Do competition. She called me at 10pm last night to let me know she had taken first place in one category and second place in another. So, a gold and silver medal for the two areas of competition...
