Phantom of the Opera...
We watched it a couple of months ago and loved the theatrical version more than we thought it would. An old show, but was adapted quite well to the big screen, I think. We decided to watch it again last night and Kierstin watched it with us. She LOVED it. Seems an odd choice for a nine year old, but...

I don't want diabetes anymore...
Hayley has been so good at tolerating her relatively new diagnosis. It's just six weeks into it and really, she doesn't complain. Not in the morning, or even in the middle of the night when she would rather be left alone but is awakened by a poke in the finger while I test her glucose levels....

I haven't been getting enough sleep lately. You learn something new every day...
Even doctors get freaked out, sometimes. I called Hayley's primary care pediatrician because she has developed swimmer's ear. I figured they'd call her in a perscription. They refuse to prescribe meds for her until she's been "regulated" with her diabetes for six months, which is odd. I guess he's...
