Dear Beaver--"The Present"

Dearest Beaver, Today it is very rainy. Gloomy, but comforting. I lit the first candle of the season and it brought me much warmth and joy. And thoughts of you. Funny how the little things in life will do that. I wonder why we don't appreciate those little things just a little bit more. I am guilty... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I love to write letters. Yes, snail mail letters. And notes. Sometimes I send them to those I am writing to and sometimes I don't. I got to thinking....what a safe place this is to keep all of the letters which are close to my heart. Whether I send them out or not. Often, if I am overcome with the desire to write a letter, but have no one specific to write to, I address them to my old friend, "Beaver". It is to Beaver that I write most of these letters.
