What is the fascination with becoming a stereotype?

I just read a Yahoo news report about a 22 year old rapper turning himself into police. Appparently it is the "cool" thing to become a stereotype. Look at the majority of rap music that gets air time on radio stations and the popular albums and I'm quite sure that there is quite a bit of content... Sign in to see full entry.
