A Discipline of Self-Love Jesus is reported as saying, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I am learning to treat myself as I want others to treat me. I don’t like it when others judge me. Why do I judge myself so harshly? No one knows us better than we do, ourselves. NO ONE can love us as fully as we, ourselves. Shams says, “Give the greatest gift you can to the world.
