When God Convicts Still feeling guilt and shame from some past poor decision or act? Rest assured, it is not from God. When The Almighty convicts, it is specific, compassionate, and tender even when it feels like a slap upside the head. God convicts to heal and set things right. The devil convicts to ensnare and control. Our response ought to repentance. God wants to restore all who respond in genuine apology. All God asks is the desire to turn around.
