Robin, Worm, Crow, and Vole Con't. (Worm has a confession)

All eyes focused on Worm. Worm said nothing for what seemed like a very, very long time. When he spoke, it was in halting sentences and in subdued voice. "I.... I don't want to die today, but I had to.... I had to say.... I just wanted to tell you.... [suddenly Worm turned bright red - I am not just talking about red as in fire engine red, but a luminous red that could only be described as 'Worm was glowing' ].
