Rumi: Get rid of yourself

If you could get rid of yourself just once, The secret of secrets Would open to you. The face of the unknown, Hidden beyond the universe Would appear on the Mirror of your perception. ~Rumi Die Before You Die Who is this aliveness that i am? Could it be, the Blessed Holy One? What shall be left When I die? Let me die before i die In the Great Silence. Let me surrender now, Like moth to flame, To the divine Light. Burn all traces of this littleness away!
