Pretty In Pink

I do believe that these are Sweet-peas. I found a small patch of them while walking yesterday and thought that this was the best of the bunch. Sign in to see full entry.

Just A Creek in Cedarville

For the life of me, I can't remember the name of this creek. It is a very short run of water, less than about three miles before it empties into Lake Huron which is just beyond the trees here. This photo is from July of 2016. Sign in to see full entry.

Twelve Mile Beach at the Picture Rocks National Park

This glorious sight was taken from a cliff along the Twelve Mile Beach on the east side of the actual Pictured Rocks in Munising. No filters at all, this was as it appeared. Sign in to see full entry.

Moon Over Whitefish Bay

Instead of writing last night like I should have been doing, I made the 45 minute trip north of me to Whitefish Bay. It was a beautiful evening with the moon coming up in the southeastern sky. The big lake was calm and the breeze was light. All in all, a beautiful summer night. Sign in to see full entry.

Hungry Hawk

I saw this hawk making dives at fish at a local small lake yesterday and watched him make about ten different strikes. Gabbro Falls

Another photo from the 'whirlwind tour of June 2016.' This is Gabbro Falls on the Black River near Bessemer, Michigan. It is one of the western most towns of the UP. Sign in to see full entry.

An older shot taken back in June of 2016 along the Pictured Rocks formations near Munising, Michigan. The colors always amaze me. Sign in to see full entry.

Buster Swimming in The Flood Plain

This was a little earlier this spring, but Buster and I went out for a walk and he decided that he was going swimming. The water right there near the center is about ten feet deep. It starts out very shallow, but immediately goes deep. Buster isn't smart enough to realize that, so he doesn't mind. Sign in to see full entry.

My Dogs At Play

I often write about my dogs and their various antics, but have rarely posted photos of them. This was taken yesterday in an area about half a mile north of Newberry along the Tahquamenon River. If the photo was to be lifted 'up just a bit, you'd be able to see how close we are to the main highway... Sign in to see full entry.

Green and Purple

This was on the same trip where I saw the fawn and its Mama, about two hundred yards further down the way. I'm a sucker for flowers, and these purple flowers in the middle of such vibrant green caught my eye. Sign in to see full entry.
