Where Am I?

I'm here, and it's now. Ironic, yeah? That's always the answer to that question. Yet, more specifically, I am at my mother's apartment in Bellingham, Washington typing on her small laptop as twilight fades and she sits in the adjacent room watching the Daily Show. We just arrived back from viewing a movie at the local Pickford Cinema, a very thought provoking film called Food, Inc. I found myself surprisingly emotional after watching it, and somehow, it brought me back. Like a fog lifted. Hard... Sign in to see full entry.

Been Back For A Week

So, here I am back in Washington. Got in on Monday. A lot of stuff going on in my life. I arrived here at my fathers, which is where I'll be living, and it's a full house. There have been 4 adults living here, 2 of them are leaving. One in the next few days, the other in the next month or so. Because he is leaving, the eldest roommate's 2 grown daughters are here. Needless to say, 7 people and a dog in one house, it's been crowded. Oh, plus piggens, the little boy, was here for a few days.... Sign in to see full entry.

Week 2 Day 1, North Dakota

I haven't written in a few days, been on the road, too tired at night to write. For the first couple days after I wrote last I didn't have internet access, I stayed with family in Ohio. Smokey Mountain High

Well, I have to say that Day 3 has been the best thus far. A little over 1200 miles into the trip staying in another Motel in Cherokee, North Carolina. Drove most of the way through Georgia without stopping, it's another pretty state, especially the Northern end. Here I am, nestled into the side of a mountain with a river running about 300 feet away from my room. Went to a meeting 35 miles away. It was great. A quiet little church with a vegetable garden on the side. About 15 people that... Sign in to see full entry.

Still In Florida

Wow, Florida is a big state. My girlfriend is starting to think I'll never get back seeing as I'm still in the same state I started in. Should fly by once I get out of this giant. I could probably make it all the way through Georgia tomorrow if I wanted to. Will probably stay in Atlanta though. So, the Everglades were pretty, the whole drive has been. Made it 400 miles yesterday, ended up in St. Petersburg which is right on the Gulf and really beautiful. There were a couple bridges that were... Sign in to see full entry.
