Another Day

Beautiful outside. I should be raring and ready to go tackle it, dive in, get out in the sun and zip around on 2 wheels. Instead I just want to go back to my bed and lay my head on the pillow and close my eyes and stay there for 3 days straight! I'm tired. Working 7 days a week, 11 hours a day, even though it's not busy, it's wearing at me, only 4 days in to my 1st week. Perhaps it's more mental than anything else. Wind In My Hair

April 17th, 2009 5:30 PM Forgot how much I love riding a scooter in this town. The wind in your hair, the sun on your face, browning your forearms, whipping at your ballcap. Everywhere you go it's green and flowers and old houses. Wide streets and pedestrians. Conch Tour Trains and Old Town Trolleys. Jaywalkers. Aggressive drivers. Slow drivers. Dangerous scooter drivers. Shaky bicycle riders. Chickens crossing the road. Why? Cock a fricking doodle, that's why. Nothing like getting out there and... Sign in to see full entry.
