In the late ‘50s one of my favorite shows on TV was a western, Have Gun, Will Travel. The star of the show was Richard Boone, and according to an article on Google, he was the sixth great grandson of Daniel Boone, the pioneer who explored the frontier and “killed him a bear when he was only three.”...
