Rainbow

It was a rape of my Soul--- Like shattered glass shards the crystal castle image of our love was smeared by the blood of your lust. Dangerous fragments and chunks of our broken lives- Pieces with sharp edges that pierce and Slice- Worse Yet, the unseen slivers that furrow deeper as you try and pluck them out. With cunning, you'd lift up a piece of clear crystal fragment and hold it to the Light I would see a rainbow- and cry. © J K Sommers, June 9, 1995 Sign in to see full entry.
