Choices

Choices I chose to be born in the flesh I didn’t have a choice the gender I’d be Being born, I was Me Seeing, again, the female flesh She didn’t want the Me she sees I gave my love She gave me criticism I gave my joy she gave me doubt I gave my time she gave me a prison She bound me as I gave for her love I was a slave A smile on her face was all that it took to lock my heart in place I chose a faith she found fault I chose a work she laughed and mocked I chose a mate she scorned with hate I...
