Behind The Mask part One of Chapter 3

I t wasn’t long in terms of real prison time. But until you’ve actually been in jail it’s really hard comprehend how long, long can be. Several days had past after the arraignment and each subsequent day got longer and longer. Time often appears to just stand still. Frank still remained very unsettled to say the least over what he worried, could be his future. The rest of his life. Talking only briefly with his attorney, Carl had whispered the three words Frank waited to hear. After being held... Sign in to see full entry.

Behind The Mask Final Part of Chapter 2

With the sun still a good two feet above the horizon for the third time in the same day Wyatt got ready for a dive. Assembling all his gear and heading out right at sunset Wyatt swam out and began to look for his landmarks on shore. Lining up his bearing he dropped down and kneeled on the bottom. This time it was much easier to find his bag, though it still required some searching. Removing white canvas bag from his BC Wyatt started filling the bag with money. Not wanting to over due it Wyatt... Sign in to see full entry.

Behind The Mask part Three of Chapter 2

Floating on the surface Wyatt caught his breath. Placing his mask on his forehead spitting salt water out of his mouth he searched for his dive gauges. 2000 psi left which would certainly give him enough time to retrieve the bag and swim safety to shore. As he continued to float on the surface he turned toward the shore shooting several bearings. By lining up two different objects at a distance and committing the compass reading to memory Wyatt felt he would certainly have better luck finding... Sign in to see full entry.

Behind The Mask part Two of Chapter 2

Wyatt was soon to follow and could hardly see Danny’s light once on the bottom. Danny had made quick work of kicking up as much of the bottom as he could in his effort to make it back. Wyatt looked at his glowing compass and started swimming ashore following 010 degrees. About 30 yards ahead off to the left he noticed what looked like a long board travel bag, big and silver on the bottom between two small finger reefs. Realizing he probably just bought two pitchers of beer he glanced at his... Sign in to see full entry.

When the Santa Ana winds kick up in Southern California it usually means any number of things. The start of a very dangerous fire season, or sometimes just good air quality for the surrounding big cities that boarder San Diego that fail to see their mountains on regular basis. Behind The Mask final part of Chapter 1

Frank knew he would be in California soon, and the investigation that was underway would eventually turn in another direction or end in a series of unverifiable leads. In the mean time he would get caught up with his family and take the much needed rest his body sometimes begged for. As the final phases of their plan were underway Frank couldn’t help but feel he was on the run. Though this contingency plan had been his idea and only used once before. It was designed to be put into action within... Sign in to see full entry.

Behind The Mask part Two of Chapter 1

It was not long before his reputation for being a bulldog in the courtroom preceded him. It was not long and certainly not by accident that Frank De La Cruz and Carl Garrison’s path would cross. Now many years later Carl headed up all the day to day for most of the entire operation. He started out as hot young trial lawyer who found himself in too deep with his best client, Frank De La Cruz. The transition was slow but well directed. They always are. Trust is something earned, even more so in... Sign in to see full entry.

Behind The Mask Part One of Chapter 1

A s one might expect who has never been, or for those who long to go, the South American Country of Venezuela is lush and beautiful. Inconspicuous neighbor to Guyana, Brazil and Colombia, with its coastline divided by the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. It amazed the locals that tourist for some reason did not flock here like they do other countries. Of course that made them equally happy as well. The small city of Barrancas is located at the mouth of the Orinoco... Sign in to see full entry.

Prologue

I can't go back... I can't go back... I know that now, things will never be the same. I said, I want to go back and do it all over but I can't go back I know. I want to go back, go back, cause I'm feeling so much older but I can't go back I know. I want to go back... © Eddie Money It was over for some, years vanished and precious time to be argued as wasted by others, but for a few, it was just the beginning. The United States Department of Justice along with the United States Drug Enforcement... Sign in to see full entry.
