Verizon Steals From Employees
Recently, my neighbor was fired from her job with Verizon as a telemarketer. She was too sick to go to work and didn't have the money to even get bus fare to go to a free clinic to get a doctor's excuse and was too embarrassed to ask me for it. She got sick because Verizon has been working her 10 hours a day, six days a week and not paying her overtime, which is illegal.
