The Magic of the Seasons...

I have left out part of Shermer's discussion of the more asinine parts of Stein's movie, such as the message, delivered with the heavy brush strokes of historical footage, that 'Darwinism' inevitably leads to tyranny and mayhem, to gulags and concentration camps. The Return of Charlie the Chipmunk?

Two summers ago we had a resident chipmunk, whom I named Charlie, and who became so tame that he would jump into my hand and take peanuts.
