Hair color adventure...

Today I just HAD to do it... get rid of the gray, that is, in my blonde hair. Gray and blonde is not a good combination! It ends up looking really mousey and washed out. Garrison Keillor had it right...

I listen to Garrison Keillor a lot- after all, he writes his stories from the part of Minnesota that I grew up in. Last weekend, I caught my favorite, 'News from Lake Wobegone' and he had an interesting monologue.. it was about crying. He said one has to cry regularly, or else the tears would build... ... sooner or later, don't they? I heard a radio report today, on my favorite radio station, NPR, about a soldier who 'single- handedly' cheered up a whole hospital with his jokes. Oxygen

Well.. the open window thing was short-lived again. I woke up in the middle of the night, smelling smoke, lungs hurting, so I got up and shut the windows and turned on the A/C.
