Update
I've been doing some serious thinking today. Last night, my husband talked about theweek I was unconscious and needing a ventilator to breathe. They were within hours of pulling the plug when I became responsive. My point in bringing this topic up is this. Although the nurses who cared for me knew full well that I had the capacity to recover, the doctors held out little hope for my recovery. My husband was writing my obituary and calling the anatomical gift society to which I'm donating my body...
