Friday!

It's Friday, and we're in the midst of a spring "heat wave". It's 14 degrees here (which is about 57 Fahrenheit, I think). I write. A lot. At work my writing is dull - technical info, company profiles, advertising blurbs. These things are not super enjoyable, but they do offer certain challenges and keep me on my toes. A Misunderstanding

Earlier this morning, a woman called to enquire about pricing. At least, that's what I thought she wanted. She spoke almost no english, and I had to ask her 3 times to repeat her question. Texting

I have always said that texting is destroying the english language. No one knows how to spell even simple words. Seeing " lol " and " btw " and "H R U?" drives me crazy.
