In the prairielands, the winds can drive you mad, the wide open spaces sucking your mind to boredom and drink. The world about me sometimes is too much, too wide and too windy to keep my ribbon shirt from carrying me off to a deep dark drink. As I sip, however, the world closes in and I see better....
