Planting Tulips

Sweet William wash lunch dishes; For I will plant the tulip bulbs in clay. Presumptious hope indeed. The roses are spent - The grass like hay And the warbler's song a distant fall Found in a threadbare wood. The field mice sleep, While voles supply little borrows with wherewithal Gathered beneath...
