This is a flux diagram

Although it's commonly used to monitor the tasks of a project, it can be used in writing as a device to showcase a plot sinopsis. It is believed also that it can help get over writer's block, but I guess that's up to anyone's personal circunstances, beliefs, methods, etc. Sign in to see full entry.

Today I fell from a cliff.

But not in the literal sense, thankfully. For some strange reason, it was as if my energies were drained out and I just wanted to sleep or be a couch potato all day. Now I realize it was the same laziness that invaded me the other day. But it really took me about 15 minutes of a very profound nap to... Sign in to see full entry.

Pretentiousness and doubts

What would you think of any artist, intellectual, or writer who is cocky, snobbish or pretentious? Would you think less of them, regardless of their talent? Or do you think their talent is ingrained as a part of who they are, and so they're really talentless? I've asking myself these questions for... Sign in to see full entry.

Laziness

I haven't written a single sentence today. I took my cat to the vet because he got in a nasty fight with another cat in one of those territorial disputes and he has two legs injured and a abscess on one side of his face. He could barely walk or even move. I feel supersaturated today, in the literary... Sign in to see full entry.

It's one of those days where you think and write one thing and your fingers and keyboard think otherwise. The worst thing about it is that it... Sign in to see full entry.

If you wanted your writing (prose and/or verse) to be like a song

Which song would it be today? Today I wish my writing was like Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's home to me and I walk alone I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of... Reflections 2: something funny I noticed yesterday...

is that my dear readers responded so well to yesterday's entry in this blog. I didn't expect it given that when I started this blog, the affluence of people coming over here to read a bit of my first experiment (the improvised novel), my thoughts, etc wasn't much. I mean, it was really good, but I... Sign in to see full entry.

Reflections

One of the worst obstacles for a writer is not having enough time to write consistently. Days can go by as you get sucked up by other events and to-do-lists in your life that are relatively more important. That has been my main problem. All the things I have written either in my journal, short... Sign in to see full entry.

My Improvised novel (Chapter I part 3)

Dave Adler got out of his house after he finished his breakfast calmly and kissed his wife goodbye. She was in a hurry too. He had a meeting at 8:00 at Warners to discuss the budget with the Main Board. He just didn't know what to do. It had gone way over what was really estimated. And the worst...
