Not a bad journey

So there I am at 5.15 this morning, tiptoeing around the house so as not to wake anybody. Obviously I walk into various objects because it is dark and hear stirrings in far bedrooms so I do put the light on and make my cup of tea (without which I am entirely unable to function on any mornings) then... Really, really cold

Temperatures plummeting here in Eastern England today but we haven't had any more snow yet. Roads and paths are icy and likely to freeze again quite badly tonight. Novel experience

I was very proud of myself for logging off when I did yesterday afternoon. You'll remember that I was intending to stop my client work and get back to my novel.
