Dappled by the summer sun, My skin nut brown on white, Tinted by hours of golden fun And basking in the honeyed light. Slowly I take my summer shade: Earthen brown, with snowy lines, Patterned by the games I played In the glorious sun shine, Each mark a trophy of a golden summer time.
