No more blogging until I have finished the Chronicles of OR

I have decided to take a break from Facebook and Blogit until I finish my Chronicles of Or. I hope you are all well and I will pop in to read and comment but I must work on my writing more. A good friend has told me so. I agree with her. I am wasting too much time on the internet when I should be writing seriously. Take care all and adieu see you some time in the future. Well I am pretty certain that Mal is right and the Hen was never a Hen

but always a rooster. He has just grown up a bit. I do not think he will go in a pot for soup as I have fallen in love with him. He is gorgeous and has now started to sprout the most lovely tail feathers. Roosters have more feathers around the neck too. He is such a handsome fellow. The black feathers are tinged with greenish hues and he is very funny to watch as he scratches the ground and finds something and calls the hens and the other rooster over to share with them so he has very good Midos... One of my Hens thinks she is a he

because she crows like a rooster about 8 am every morning and I am wondering if she is a gender confused hen. do hens do that? She sounds like a rooster even. It is awful and she is not laying eggs even though she is supposed to do so. Does this hen need a good psychologist? Sign in to see full entry.

People who say they are friends and then talk about you behind your back

It is juvenile and immature. If you can't say it to the person's face then where is your courage? What sort of person are you? Are you the sort of person I want for a friend? No I think not as honesty and courage are what I admire in friends more than anything. Sign in to see full entry.

The first chapter of my text on Bullying

'Now you can be a real mother to your son’, Candice the director of the ABC Childcare centre told me as I tearfully explained to her that I would not be using the ABC Centre’s services after the end of the month of June. There was no sympathy offered or even empathy with my situation, just a strangely cynical and critical attitude of ‘well that’s that then’. ‘I’ll make out an invoice for you until the end of the month. It will be ready for you to pick up tomorrow.’ She was cool and dismissive.... Sign in to see full entry.

Here is the link to my photo album on Facebook for the photos of our trip

I am lazy but I think it is better to give the link and you can see the photos more effectively on Facebook. I have written a little with each one. I have not posted every one of the 200 odd photos but some of the best ones. http://www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=834840532#/photo.php?pid=7735190&id=834840532&ref=nf Sign in to see full entry.

The second day at Warrnambool

The second day of our little Warrnambool jaunt has been great. In the morning we went out to the Whale platform but did not see whales. Nir and I, along with about a dozen other people, waited and watched and waited to spot a dorsal fin or two or a tail flipping out of the water or even a blow hole burst of water. Then we went down to the river cruises wharf to see if we could catch a boat to the islands to see some seals. No luck as there were only a few seagulls waiting in the drizzle to see... Warrnambool - the first Night!

Well we arrived at Warrnambool. Nir was alive and un-strangled. I had to keep up a refrain of ‘Keep the sash over your shoulder. Put it back. KEEP THAT SHOULDER SASH ON!’ He kept taking it off and just having the lap sash. Children need to keep both sashes on. In a crash (G-d Forbid) it can make the difference between severe injury and minor injury for a child. So I was a nag. Many parents are because the last thing we want is an injured child. We saw the laser light show at the Flagstaff Hill... Sign in to see full entry.

We are off to watch the whales at Warrnambool

in Victoria's south western corner. It will be a nice drive and apparently there is no football tomorrow morning so we will leave early. I have booked a really nice cabin at the Figtree Caravan Park and am looking forward to a relaxing couple of days in the country. Nir will love the beaches and it will be just a joy to breathe all that fresh air. I am going to take my computer to blog a little at night. I have been remarkably quite these last few weeks but I have a lot on my mine at present and... Sign in to see full entry.

Nir is in the holiday program

and I am drinking copious amounts (three litres in all) of a preparation that is supposed to literally turn my bowels to water. I have to be squeaky clean for a barium enema tomorrow at 11 am at the Alfred Hospital. I must admit the colon cleanse is not as bad as one I had about three years ago when I had a colonoscopy. That was disgusting. Now I just have three litres of a fairly bland tasting liquid that goes right through me. I made a cake and a chicken soup for Nir to eat when he comes home....
