Creating a market for organs - horrific idea & a slippery slope?

I think that as much as we might think that the above question may only be pertinent for and to the 'developing world' - black markets exist in the West, making it pertinent anywhere. About this Blog

We're living in an incredibly interesting day and age - in terms of what's happening in the world of politics, global religion, crime, technology and society as a whole. We're witnessing phenomena and events which have simply had no precedent. I firmly believe that everything means something - and that the value of living any one day rests in the lessons we draw from that day. There are lessons therefore to be drawn from looking at what's happening in the world around us - and benefits to be had from doing so. In an increasingly secular world - viewing things through the lenses of ethics and morality is also increasingly important, I feel. This applies from everything to countries' foreign and domestic policies - to technological, biological and scientific progress. Just examples. I'd like '42' to be a space within which such issues can be broached, discussed and frustrations aired - and hopefully even solutions arrived at, in even a small way, to some of those things.
