I am showing you one of my distractions. It all started with a break-out, an escape. Twice, our little dog, Millicent, Millie for short, my mother's dog we rescued from sure extermination at the hands of my ex s-i-l, escaped from our yard. Now I'm in no shape to run after her and my voice is too...

When You Care to Send the Very Best-
Is today one of those gold foil Hallmark days of my life? Not necessarily yes. Not necessarily no, either. Our land-line phone had been on the blitz for a week now. It took several days of phoning (with cell-phones) for service. We even had one repairman, whose specialty he said was not 'phone...
