Be grateful.

Be grateful. Always strive for more and better, but be grateful for what you have at the moment, and learn to use it in best possible ways. This goes for everything – skills, money, cars, houses, ranks. If you don’t appreciate what you already have, how can you be so sure you will like what you might get later? After all, these things only have value because you think they are better than what you have – and if you don’t appreciate what you have, you may end up being disappointed. Don't worry.

Don’t worry too much. An easy thing to say, but it is possible to get your thoughts away from your problems, and worrying won’t solve them anyway. It might just make everything look worse (worst case scenario, it will actually make everything worse). Smile.

Smile. Even when it’s hard to do, do it. The thing is, some of us easily succumb to bad moods and even self pity, which never makes anything better. I personally spent hell of a long time feeling misunderstood, alone and angry. When I look back at it now, it seems so completely idiotic, but it’s a trap it is easy to fall into. Some days make it extremely hard; you feel like cursing everything to hell. But if you try to fight it, you will find that with each time it takes less effort. With time...
