Everybody in the area knew Mr. Monroe. Long time before like maybe in the 1930s or even earlier he worked in what he called the ‘traveling show’. He worked until that is after he had his accident. I don’t know how close to the truth the telling of this story was but according to him he went from one side of the train between the cars to get on the side to enter instead of going such a long way around.
