Alot Of Ado About Something--- An Encore Presentation

Here’s an easy one: “A lot” is two words, not one. If it weren’t two words, then logic dictates that “afew” would be one word, as would “abunch” and “ahandful.” I enjoy trying to understand why these types of errors occur.
