The Question Is Harmony Harmony is one of the legs of a tripodstool. The other two legs are Love and Beauty. Here is my short sermon on Harmony: Harmony is a central goal and task for every heart-centered person. A mere glaance at the Nature all around us reveals an exquisite harmony, elegant in its simplicity and tuned so finely as to be often missed. A short sermon on 'Now '. Stop what you are doing and take a breath with full awareness and concentration of watching that breath. Watch it enter your body,;observe where it goes inside your body; observe it leaving takin with it impurities and waste water. Take another.... and now, one more. I Have Had a Lifetime of Holy Relationships And the funny thing is the older I get, the holier they get. These relationships pop up at the most unexpected times. In a grocery store line, in Wal-mart, driving down the street - all these have occasioned encounters of holy relationship. Some of these folks, I will never see again, some I see every day. Anything I can say about Jesus Christ ...

Anything I can say about Jesus Christ... I can say about my friend and Sufi teacher, Khabir. Now I see why Jesus gathered an intimate group of friends to spread His Mystical Messege. This path cannot be taught; it can only be caught. Khabir kindled a flame within my heart so that I cannot ever be in the darkness again. Thank you, oh Murshid! Sacred Learning The Learning Goal: A Sufi has taken initiation in a path of sacred education. He/She makes the commitment to explore the journey of lerning offered by their initiator. Holy Shit

Holy Shit I once attended a Sufi Camp where the theme was ' Turning Our Shit into Compost '. Praise God, for this Holy process. This process works like this: The world bashes our fragile egos; we are forced by the pain, to take an honest, dispassionate look at our 'stuff'. This is the beginning of repentance. We see how we have colluded with temptation. At that moment we see, we can choose again. 'As for me and my house, we shall choose The Almighty.' Repentance is completed by our confession...
