The Golden Rule is an extreme expression of religious doctrine and liberal philosophy that has disarmed humanity for long enough. Open your eyes and see that it is only half of the principle of moral reciprocity. The other half of moral reciprocity has always been ignored, slandered, demonized, condemned by well-meaning extremists (both religious AND atheist)in the name of Peace and Love. Peace and Love are important, but WAKE UP, people, and see the other half of the Golden Rule!
